90%
of onboarding streamlined
3 steps
from filing to submission
2 months
of legacy SOAP integration
The client
A US law firm that files patents for clients around the world, many of whom do not speak English as a first language.
The problem
Client onboarding ran on manual forms. Documents went missing, instructions were misread, and pre-assessment of a case was delayed on almost every filing.
What we built
We rebuilt intake as a guided flow instead of a form:

build / 1
Three-step intake with patent lookup
The client enters a patent number, sees the case data pulled back live, and is told exactly which documents this filing needs before uploading anything.
build / 2
One upload flow for every case type
Several different documentation processes became one flow, which cut most of the back-and-forth between clients and attorneys.
build / 3
A legacy SOAP integration
The patent lookup runs on an old SOAP system. Making it feel instant took two months of careful work.
